Burlington Data Print has consistently grown with progressive adaptation of modern technology, introducing the first litho continuous press into South Africa. With a sound financial base and forward planning, we have established ourselves as a holistic manufacturing company offering a complete spectrum of services. Being leaders in our field of expertise, Burlington was one of the first innovators to introduce the Forms Management System utilised to handle client's storage, warehousing and the distribution of various printing requirements.

Burlington Data Print values staff Empowerment and development, thus instituting an ongoing apprenticeship programme. Many of our staff members joined Burlington as apprentices and are now vital members of our management team. It can be noted that many of Burlington's staff members have a long service record, and the majority of the staff compliment is from historically disadvantaged communities. Our client base boasts some of the leading corporations in Southern Africa; some having remained with us over a period of 60 years, this being due to our policy of strict quality control and service excellence, evidence that we have remained market leaders in the print field. Burlington Data Print (Pty) Ltd was elected as one of the printers to manufacture the Ballot papers for South Africa’s first democratic election in 1994. Our latest success has been a substantial order for posters, awarded for the 2004 election. Burlington Dataprint are continually doing work for various sporting codes in South Africa, from posters and programmes for various horse racing events to the tickets for the South African superbike grand prix in Welkom. Burlington Dataprint is a proud supplier to South African Cricket and was the preferred supplier to Cricket World Cup 2003.

  • Versatility – Having both continuous and sheet-fed departments makes us a complete one stop print option. Being able to offer our clients the full range of print services ensures that they don't need to make use of various suppliers and that helps build strong relationships with our clients.
  • Economies of Scale – Being one of the biggest print shops obviously gives us an advantage both in terms of buying power and in terms of our production capacity. Having bigger buying power lets us get preferential prices and service from suppliers, which in turn means more competitive prices for our clients. Some clients require large run, or very complex, jobs which only certain printers can accommodate; our capacity allows us to take on any job.
  • Warehousing and Distribution – Burlington Data Print has a large warehouse, used specifically for storage of both raw materials and finished goods. Being able to carry large stocks of paper allows us to take advantage of bulk buying, allows us to carry consignment stock and protects us against supply problems and shortages.

We offer clients a warehousing facility for finished goods as well as a distribution solution to clients who need printed stationery distributed to branches countrywide.
